Hard work, persistence, and good spirits have been the building blocks of Stellar Road. Since the turn of the Millennium, founding members Jack and Mike Daly, Justin Griffin, Adrian Pacheco and newly aquired Reese Jones have been gracing the stages (and basements) of pubs, colleges, coffee shops, and arenas, from Chicago to Los Angeles. All natives to Chicago, Stellar Road got their start with a relentless touring schedule starting in the fall of 02’. With upwards of twenty performances per month; no venue too large or too small, the band was able to fund and release their debut album “Better than Yesterday”.
True to its name, “Better than Yesterday” has since gained national popularity and landed the band performances ranging from the legendary Roxy in L.A., to their very own hometown giant, Soldier Field. With appearances on WGN and ABC TV, an opening gig for Bon Jovi, and countless esteemed live shows, Stellar Road has proven that they are as much at home on the stage as they are in the studio. Their powerful and improvisational live performances have separated them from other artists on their scene, and display a wide range of the band’s influences, which in turn fuel the diversity of Stellar Road song writing. Says singer Jack Daly, “when you have a group of people who genuinely love music as much as we do, the possibilities are endless”.
Showing no signs of settling down, Stellar Road is back in the studio in Chicago to start the recording of their highly anticipated sophomore album. Fueled by a true love of music and songwriting, the group expects to once again prove that passion is a key ingredient to true music.
